Hello! My name is Antonio Ferrari and I am currently a Penn State student preparing to participate in Arthrex's supply chain co-op rotational program. I am very excited to expand my knowledge on all channels of the supply chain and to escape the bi-polar Pennsylvanian weather for the warm Floridian climate!
I first became interested in supply chain while studying abroad in Pforzheim, Germany. During a tour of Mercedes-Benz's production line, I began to appreciate the intricacies and complexity of a company's supply chain. As I have progressed through my supply chain classes, I have grown to enjoy the problem solving aspect that the major has to offer.
There are many majors that can be used to help others, but I believe supply chain is one of the most overlooked and yet most influential majors when comparing the range of impact you can have on someone else's life. Everyone sees the doctor who moves to a third world country to heal the sick, but not many notice the logician that gets the medicine to the clinic. My hope is that my knowledge of supply chain, big data analytics, and international business will prepare me for a job that has an impact on this broken world.
I love traveling and trying a country's food! Another thing I love about traveling is seeing the landscapes that are unique to each individual country. Whether it's sitting on a beach or hiking up a mountain, I really enjoy being out in nature. I also really enjoy watching and playing all sports, but I am the most passionate about football. Go Eagles and Go State!
